- Item: Male and female airing court padlocks.
- Description: These are the two original padlocks with their keys from the male and female airing courts. These were located at opposite ends of the asylum, and the two keys could also be used as ward keys for the asylum. Although the locks have aged with time they are solid brass and still work. The locks are approximately 7 inches high and 1 inch thick.
